Where can I get strong smelling candles for Fall?
Question:
I have tried using the Yankee candles and some of them don’t smell very stong. What kind of strong smelling candles can I get to make my house smell like Fall!

Yankee Candles has changed their formula over the years. They used to be so strong and now they’re not.
I absolutely agree 100% with Bella’s comment. Use a candle jar warmer to get the most scent out of your candles. I got mine at Walmart for only $5.
In order to get the most scent release out of your candles, you have to have a complete wax pool across the top of the candle and about 1/4″ to 3/8″ deep. That’s why candle warmers release more scent. You get a total wax pool and they don’t take that long to melt the jar.
However, if you can, get yourself some empty glass votive cups and carve out a chunk of candle wax about a tablespoonful or so and just melt that instead of the entire jar. It’s awesome!
But for even stronger scents, I would go with soy wax melts because they are made with more frangrance oil than candles since there’s no need to worry about wicks mushrooming when burned as there are no wicks.
Hands down, its Gold Canyon Candles. They are the best quality and highest fragranced candles on the market! I used to buy party lite, but they really dont smell that great, and when i lit them the smell practically went away. So i dont like those. You should try Gold Canyon Candles. They last forever! and they have a ton of new smells out like all the Christmas and holiday ones. My favorite is the Warm Apple Crisp. MMMMMMMMMMM!!!!!!!

I don’t know what kind of candle emits a strong smell, but I use this candle heating thing, not sure exactly what to call it, you just place the candle on top of it and it heats it up. I noticed the smell is stronger this way as opposed to lighting it up.
