Is there a way I can make my house smell good?
I can’t use air freshening spray. But I do have candles. I’m always so jealous of people with those houses that when you walk in, you take a deep breath in because it smells so fresh.
It’s not that my house smells – it’s just that it smells like nothing, and I want it to smell good.

Here’s something I’ve been doing. I bought some candle tart chunks. Now usually you’d melt them in a tart burner, but I didn’t want the mess of having to clean up the melter bowl. Besides, what if you want to use a different scent and you’ve already got melted wax in the bowl? I had a bunch of glass tea light holders so I got a $5 electric candle jar warmer at Walmart. Now I melt the tarts in a tea light holder. The entire house smells nice and the scent throw is so much better than burning a candle and they last and last.
Just be careful because the tea light holder will be hot. Just turn off the warmer and let it cool before handling. You can also use a glass votive holder. Walmart sells both the glass tea light and votive holders.
With the individual holders, I can switch out scents whenever I like because I don’t have a messy tart burner to deal with. I usually rotate 3 different fragrances during the day and my house always smells nice.
