Can I use food coloring to tint my home made candles?

Question:

I’m making soy wax candles, and I know they sell the color chunks that color the candles…

But is it just as effective to use food coloring? Thanks!

NO! Food coloring contains water and is insoluable in wax. You must use only use dyes specifically approved for candle making. BTW, you can’t use Crayons, either.
